Why these four
Our main calculator runs forwards: you give it a target level and it prices the card sets you would need. These tools take the questions it cannot answer — what to do with the cards you already own, whether a set is better sold than crafted, what an XP number actually means, and how a level compares to everyone else's. All four are free and carry no ads.
Three of them need no account and work with JavaScript turned off — type a number, get an answer. The inventory scanner is the exception: it has to sign you in and run in your browser, because it reads your own Steam inventory. What it finds is held in memory for about fifteen minutes, then gone — never saved to our database.
They also share their arithmetic with the calculator rather than reimplementing it, so a figure shown here can never contradict a price we quote. Where a tool relies on market prices instead of the XP curve, it says so on the page and shows the date the figures were sampled.
